Storylab is a hands-on summer camp for curious kids ages 8–11 (students who have completed 2nd through 4th grades) who love stories, words, and big ideas. Over the course of the week, campers will dive into poetry, imaginative storytelling, expressive writing, and creative word play through guided prompts, collaborative games, and open-ended writing invitations.
This isn’t about perfect spelling or polished essays; it’s about experimenting, taking creative risks, and discovering the joy of turning thoughts into stories. Campers will build confidence as writers, strengthen foundational writing skills, and learn to share their ideas in a supportive, low-pressure environment designed to meet each child where they are.
The week will wrap up with a celebratory Publishing Party, where each camper will choose a favorite piece to share, and we’ll celebrate their growth, creativity, and brave storytelling!
